EXPOSED!  is a series of artist books  exploring  repression  and censorship  in relation to  protest. In this series, protest becomes  something raw and natural, like our bodies, hair, or scar marks. In some of the books, the bodily  nature of protest reflects how it grows  louder when  censored.  Across the series,  the body functions as a vessel that carries and preserves both protest  and  repression. It  is through the body  that resistance, censorship,  and suppression  are experienced and  understood. The cover images feature graffiti slogans  that have been painted over. All of them are from Tehran, Iran, except for one, the pink book’s cover, which was photographed in Boston. The interior images vary  across the books. In most of them, I use photographs of the human body that I have taken. One book includes found imagery of scar marks, while the pink book contains images sourced from  videos that sexualize ice.

عیان! مجموعه‌ای از کتاب‌ هنری است که  اعتراض و خشونت سیاسی را در رابطه با بدن بررسی می‌کند. در این مجموعه، اعتراض به چیزی خام و طبیعی تبدیل می‌شود، مانند بدن، مو، یا جای زخم‌هایمان. در این مجموعه، ماهیت جسمانی اعتراض بازتاب‌دهنده‌ی این است که چگونه با سانسور پررنگتر می‌شود. در سراسر این مجموعه، بدن به‌مثابه‌ی ظرفی عمل می‌کند که هم اعتراض و هم سرکوب را حمل و حفظ می‌کند. از طریق بدن مقاومت، سانسور و فروکوبی تجربه و درک می‌شوند. تصاویر روی جلدها دیوارنوشته های سیاسی هستند که با رنگ ها و شکل های مختلف پوشیده شده اند. همه‌ی آن‌ها در تهران هستند، به‌جز یکی، جلد کتاب صورتی، که در بوستون عکاسی شده. تصاویر داخلی در هر کتاب متفاوت است. در اکثر آن‌ها از عکس‌هایی از بدن انسان استفاده کرده‌ام. یک کتاب شامل تصاویر یافت‌شده از رد به جامانده از زخم مردمانی ست که نمی شناسمندشان، در کتاب صورتی صحنه هایی از ویدیوهای موجود در اینترنت که که یخ را  جنسیت‌زده می‌کنند استفاده کرده‌ام
